Indie designer pick of the week: Timmery

I came upon Timmery's booth at the Unique LA's Eco friendly section and fell in love with her 80's inspired costume jewelrY. The name of her collection is 1981 and it's filled with color, music and fun! What I love most about her stuff is that she uses things that we might've forgotten and left in the past, but I DiE for  the matchbox car bangles...... scroll ALL the way down:)
She'll be producing her collection at the Sugar art/fashion event this Friday at the Loft in dtla.

The night will consist of an artist and photography showcase which begins at 8pm. Followed by a fashion show featuring local emerging fashion and accessory designers. DJ Tessa Young will be spinning throughout the evening to create that party vibe, with CRAZEDOTCOM topping the night off with a live performance at midnight. There will also be vendors selling their product and creations throughout the evening in allotted areas of the loft. This will be a great place to get unique and one of a kind gifts for your friends and lovers for the holiday season!!!

The event is sponsored by Colt 45 and Honest Tea!!! Basically, Sugar is a massive female art party!!! There are a lot of talented people involved and the energy is through the roof!

L.S.D's LookBook LEAKAGE by Ms NewGen!

Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to have distant cousins who share the same interests as I do, LeAnn and Linda Nguyen (aka. NewGen photography). These two aren't just beautiful, talented, and fashionable, but they're also book smart and the most caring/sweetest girls that I have ever met. If you live or are from the LA area, these kind of people are extinct.  LeAnn contacted me asking if I wanted to join forces and hold our very first fashion photo shoot showcasing my accessories with Linda NewGen doing the photography.
Coming in, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but in the end, EVERYthing worked out great! Although a few things didn't go as planned, the models did an amazing job and were so flexible evolving into different looks and making awkward shots look comfortable :)

Can't wait for our next shoot!  Here's a sneak peak at some of our new items!
